A TODDLER died just a few days after she was sexually assaulted at a motel.
Tragic Nariah Brown was just 17 months old when she was brutally attacked when her mum left her with her boyfriend and a friend.
Nariah died from her injuries on Friday, authorities in Richmond, Virginia in the US confirmed.
Aija Brown, the child’s mum, left her daughter with her long-term boyfriend and a friend she’d known since childhood on May 8.
But when she returned to the Colony House Motor Lodge she discovered the toddler with horrific injuries, including punctured lungs and fractured ribs, and called the emergency services.
Recalling the moment a paramedic took her child away, Aija told NBC12: “I said, ‘baby, I love you’…and I’m going to let you go with him… and I’ll be right back.
“I was in panic mode, disgusted, in total shock… that anything happened to her.
