The Voice coaches attracted considerable attention when the show aired yesterday evening.

There was one aspect about them that fans of the ITV contestants were thrilled about and it’s been a talking point all season.

Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Olly Murs have been seen wearing the same clothes week on week.

However, last night they each had a different outfit on and it seems as though it was what fans had been waiting for.

Those watching at home took to Twitter to comment on the big change.

“I’m just happy the judges have changed their clothes. Thank you! #TheVoiceUK,” one exclaimed.

Another said: “Omg they’re in different clothes #TheVoiceUK @ollyofficial @IAMJHUD @iamwill.”(sic)

“Woohoo they’ve changed their clothes at last lol #thevoiceuk,”(sic) a third joked.

A fourth jested: “Judges wearing different outfits! Didn’t recognise them #TheVoiceUK.”

“Totally forgotten the coaches had other clothes! #TheVoiceUK,” a fifth shared.

Even the show’s official Twitter page got in on the action.

It posted: “PSA: They will be wearing these outfits for the next three (3) weeks. Don’t @ us. #TheVoiceUK.”

The first instalment of the Battles Round saw Olly try to make a surprise steal from Tom, but will.i.am had the same idea.

Tom put two of his acts, Jimmy and Roger on the stage to go against one another.

The Welsh icon decided to save Roger but Olly was quick to steal Jimmy.

He looked thrilled as he hit his light and will.i.am was quick to follow.

will.i.am laughed at his own actions as Olly was rendered temporarily speechless.

Meanwhile, host Emma Willis declared: “Will just screwed you over.”

However, Jimmy ultimately decided to side with Olly, much to the coach’s relief.

The Voice continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
