DESPITE weeks of building up the drama ahead of tonight’s finale of The Bachelor UK, many fans are convinced that they already know who will be crowned as the winner out of the three remaining girls.
The speculation comes after Channel 5 released a teaser clip which showed the arms and hands of the girl that Bachelor Alex Marks picks, which many are saying has made it ‘obvious’ to guess who it is.
The clip, which was featured at the start of Tuesday night’s episode shows the winner draped around Alex, 31, as he says that he is ‘in love’ with her.
However upon close inspection many fans of the show noticed the ring that the winner is wearing is remarkably similar to the one that Essex girl Alicia Oates’ has worn throughout the series.
Viewers have since taken to social media to share their findings and express their disappointment at the prospect of already knowing the winner before it airs tonight.
One wrote: “Well it’s obvious Alicia is the winner but are they still together that’s the question
Another said: “Well done
@TheBachelorUK we now know from tonight’s episode that Alicia wins as she has the pink nails and ring on her middle finger from the future clip shown of him carrying the winner. @frankiemaddin not happy I’m not watching the rest of the week!”
A third responded to another viewers question about the winner, saying: “Basically it’s Alicia lol just look on here for the pictures. She has the ring on that was shown in the preview of the winner being carried by the bachelor at the beginning of last nights episode. Lol”
And a fourth provided others with photo evidence, as she shared a picture of Alicia wearing the unusual ring stating that it was in ‘full view’ earlier in the week.
Alicia, 25, is one of three girls that ‘The Bachelor’ has chosen to take to Antigua for tonight’s final.
The other girls in the running to win the Bachelor’s heart are Charlotte E, 36, and late comer Charlotte T.
But, despite speculation that Alicia is the definite winner of the show, hosted by Mark Wright, fans will have to wait until The Bachelor picks in tonight’s finale.
Before the show aired, Alex told the Sun Online that it had been “an emotional rollercoaster”.
He said: “It was a bit of an emotional roller-coaster for me and there were definitely real, human emotion connections.
“Some right from the word go and others I learnt an awful lot about throughout the process.”

He added: “Following my heart and listening to that and also acting on your gut while using your brain, it is a tricky situation.
“[It was] completely foreign and alien to be given this opportunity to date multiple women at one time, but there wasn’t one day that I woke up thinking, ‘I wish I’d done that differently’.”
The Bachelor concludes in a two-hour special tonight at 10pm on Channel 5.
