Siren season two airs every Thursday on Syfy in the UK at 9pm after arriving on February 14. The series began airing in America on Freeform at the end of January. With viewers in America halfway through the second series and its arrival in the UK, fans are curious if there will be another season. Read on to find out more.

Will there be another series of Siren?

The future of Siren has not yet been confirmed by American network Freeform.

According to tvseriesfinale.com, compared to season one Siren ratings in the US are down by 24 percent in viewership.

However, this does not mean the end for Siren as the series has still to come to an end in America and has just begun airing in the UK.

Fingers crossed that Siren season three will be given the green light.

This article will be updated when more information is available.

What will happen in Siren season 3?

Siren, formerly known as The Deep has 16 episodes in total.

Unfortunately, the series has not concluded yet on both sides of The Atlantic, so it is hard to predict what will happen next.

Siren episode eight aired last night (Thursday, March 14) in America and has now embarked on its midseason break.

Episode six will air on Thursday (March 21) in the UK on Syfy.

Siren follows a mysterious girl called Ryn (played by Eline Powell) who arrives in the seaside town of Bristol Cove.

In season two, more merpeople are appearing in Bristol Cove and Ben (Alex Roe) and Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola) are trying to hide them from the general public.

Ryn is also the leader of a mermaid colony but is seen as weak by Katrina (Ayla Marzolf) who compares her to a human.

The synopsis for season two reads: “More mermaids will arrive in the once-sleepy fishing town in season two — but are they seeking revenge, or is something more catastrophic driving them out of the sea?

“Marine researchers Ben and Maddie continue to establish a bond with mermaid Ryn, not only to protect her but to try to help save her entire civilization.”

WHO IS IN THE CAST OF SIREN?

Who will star in Siren season 3?

As the series has not finished airing, it is also hard to tell who will return for another series if it is given the go ahead.

Hopefully, all of the show’s main cast members will be back for the new series.

This mean Game of Thrones actress Eline Powell as a Ryn Fisher, a mermaid with a huge secret.

Fellow Game of Thrones alum, Fola Evans-Akingbola may also be back as Maddie Bishop, a marine biologist in Bristol Cove.

The Fugitives star Alex Roe will hopefully be back as a marine biologist Ben Powell.

Lucifer actor Ian Verdun may return to reprise his role as Xander McClure, a deep-sea fisherman who is investigating the existence of mermaids.
