Queer Eye season three dropped on Netflix this morning (Friday, March 15). The first series saw the Fab Five travel to Atlanta, Georgia. The new series sees Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown and Antoni Porowski go to a new state to makeover people’s lives. Read on to find out more about Queer Eye season three.
Where is Queer Eye season 3 set?
Queer Eye on Netflix is set in the United States of America.
Season three of Queer Eye is set in Kansas City, Missouri.
Kanas City is the largest city in the state of Missouri, with a population of 488,943 according to the U.S Census Bureau.
Kanas City is the 37th most populous city in the USA and is best known for its jazz music culture and its unique style of barbecue.
Sadly, the Fab Five have not visited any other countries in the first three series.
There was a Queer Eye special in 2018, titled “Yass, Australia” where the Queer Eye cast visited George in Yass, New South Wales in Australia.
In the episode, the Fab Five made over George, a farmer in 50s who wanted to spend more time with his friends and family.

Luckily, there will be four special episodes of Queer Eye later this year and it has been confirmed the Fab Five visit Japan.
The stars have been posted behind the scenes photos of their travels in Japan on their Instagram accounts.

Queer Eye season three sees the Fab Five visit Kansas City, Missouri for the first time to work their magic.
Filming season three of Queer Eye took place last summer in 2018.
The previous two seasons saw the Fab Five visit Atlanta and neighbouring towns including Dallas, Winder, Marietta, Norcross, Covington, Gay, Dahlonega, Decatur, Athens, Duluth, Marysville and Clarkson.
Queer Eye season three sees the Fab Five embark on an 11-hour road trip from Atlanta to Missouri.
The Fab Five Loft is located in Atlanta, Georgia and it is where the group watch the heroes they helped to continue their lives following their Queer Eye experience.
The Fab Five Loft is a real apartment building, called the Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts in Atlanta’s Cabbagetown neighbourhood.
The apartment complex was converted from three cotton mills which belonged to The Fulton Spinning Cotton Company from 1881.
Bobby Berk confessed to Glamour magazine that the Fab Five do not actually live in the loft but “30 minutes away in an apartment building.”

The creator of Queer Eye, David Collins has spoken about his intention to film a season of Queer eye in Midwest America, especially Cincinnati, Ohio.
Speaking to IndieWire, he said: “I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio, born and raised. I would like to go to the tristate region, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, because you can base in Cincinnati and go across the bridge to Kentucky and go up the interstate to Indiana.
“The corn-fed midwestern folk are where I’m from — and I love actually being from Ohio, it’s a great place to be from.”
