ONE is the world’s most lusted after male model with a net worth of £16 million – the other is an soap legend who has played EastEnders’ Robbie Jackson for over 25 years.

But despite having very different careers and mixing in very different circles, Dean Gaffney, 41, says he constantly gets mistaken for model David Gandy, 39 – and we have to admit, we can kind of see the resemblance.

The name’s Gandy. Dean Gandy

In an exclusive interview with the Sun Dean said: “Gandy wishes he looked like me… No, I’m joking.

“He’s a very handsome guy, he’s not a young model, as in he’s kind of distinguished and the sheer fact that people even think that we remotely look alike, I’ll take that one definitely for the team. I think it’s great.”

David, on the other hand, hasn’t commented on the uncanny likeness between them.

Dean’s comments come as it’s revealed he has partnered with Virgin Trains in the search to find the voice for their on board talking toilets.

David, meanwhile, is currently working on another multi-million pound M&S campaign, and is on the cover of this week’s GQ Magazine.

Gandy, named the ‘Most beautiful international male’ in 2008, was offered the told of Cristian Grey in the 2015 blockbuster, but admitted ‘it just didn’t feel right.’

So we’re pretty sure he wouldn’t accept a role in EastEnders anytime soon either – though we have to admit, he’s be a great addition to Albert Square…
