Salem Sabatka was finally found safe in a dramatic rescue hours after her mum was filmed shouting “help me” in broad daylight.

She was shoved to the floor as she attempted to keep her child from being dragged into the car.

The panicked mother was caught on surveillance video yelling out “help, call the police” as a concerned neighbour ran from his house and the alleged kidnappers sped off.

After a huge hunt to find the missing youngster, cops said two heroic members of the public tracked down the car the suspect was driving to a nearby hotel.

Officers were then able to raid the room and rescue Salem, said to be unharmed and calm, from her ordeal.

The youngster was taken to hospital, and a 51-year-old man, named as Michael Webb, arrested on suspicion of aggravated kidnap.

She was found after about eight hours, reports NBC 5.

After launching a state-wide Amber Alert earlier in the day, Officer Buddy Calzada said: “As you can see there’s a smile on my face – Salem has been found safe.

HEROIC WITNESSES

“This vehicle behind me – a grey ford 500 – it was the vehicle we were looking for and the vehicle two local church members who saw what we put out on social media went out looking for and then called it into police.

“They’re our heroes tonight, I’ll tell you that.”

He added about 50 relieved officers began to cheer as the news broke Salem had been found.

The suspected kidnapper – described as a “light-skinned black male” – was taken into custody by Fort Worth Police.

The hunt was lead by the Department of Homeland Security and a battalion of local cops.

The 4’5in child was abducted at 2900 6th Avenue in Fort Worth’s Ryan Place neighbourhood at 6.38 p.m.

Cops described her as having brown hair, blue eyes, freckles, pierced ears, and a teal shirt.
