MINXY Mel Owen is playing a game with Jack Branning, who she blames for getting her son Hunter put in prison.
But what’s her plan and is he in danger? Let’s take a look…
What is Mel’s plan for Jack in EastEnders?
Mel was distressed when she called her landlord and former lover Jack on Monday (April 15) night’s episode and told him she’d had a brick through her window.
He came over and she confessed she was scared that she was now a target for abuse because her son’s a murderer.
He took her over to his house where a suspicious Rainie Cross questioned her about her intentions for Jack.
She reminded Mel that it was only a few weeks ago that she was trying to kill him with a pair of scissors.
Mel told her that she was sorry for that and she was tired of fighting everyone all the time. Rainie wasn’t convinced.
When Jack couldn’t get the window fixed until the next day, he insisted that he stayed with Mel so she wasn’t alone.
Mel was then seen putting the brick that had come through the window back into the wall in her garden, meaning she’d done it herself.

So is Jack in danger from Mel in EastEnders?
It’s certainly looking like he could be as Mel clearly didn’t mean what she said to Rainie about forgiving and forgetting.
When Jack called out to her, asking her if she wanted a cup of tea or coffee, Mel replied that she’d take, whatever Jack had, insinuating her damsel in distress act is part of a bigger revenge plan.
And when Mel takes revenge she really means it. The last man who crossed her – Ray Kelly – ended up dead and buried in a shallow grave in the woods.
Could she be planning a similar fate for Jack?
