Love Island fans call dumping a ‘fix’ as they point out Danny and Jourdan have barely been shown all week

FURIOUS Love Island fans have branded tonight’s dumping a “fix” as they pointed out that Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane had barely any air time all week.

The pair were dumped from the Island after receiving the fewest public votes of all of the couples – with another pair set to leave in tomorrow night’s show.

Jourdan and Danny were booted from the Island this evening

Taking to Twitter, viewers claimed that producers had edited the ITV2 reality show to ensure that Danny and Jourdan received the least votes as they realised they hadn’t been shown any clips of the two together.

One angry fan wrote: “The couple with the least air time since they are made a couple leave the show. What a fix. Done with this show.”

Another tweeted: “This is more like Fix Island, producers never showed Danny or Jourdan so the public can warm to them as a couple, yet Maura is always being sent a life line, no matter what she does.”

A third said: “They done Danny dirty the last few days, it’s a fix.”

Fans claimed that the pair had not had any air time this week

Danny, 21, coupled up with 24-year-old Jourdan last week following the show’s iconic Casa Amor twist.

The model was single at the time after his former partner, Arabella Chi, was cruelly dumped from the Island by his fellow castmates.

Prior to that, Danny had faced fierce backlash after he dumped Yewande Biala for Arabella – but he has since insisted that he has zero regrets about his time on the show.

He explained: “I have absolutely no regrets. I made mistakes for sure but I’m grateful for all the ups and downs because it led me to where I am today and I am a happy man.

“Anything I wanted to say, I feel like I said it in the moment. I apologised for things that I did wrong.”

Lucie and George, and Amy and Curtis also got the lowest public votes, with today’s episode ending as it was revealed that their fellow Islanders will have to decide which of those couples gets to remain in the competition.

Earlier today, The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Amy had chosen to quit Love Island as she struggled to cope with the heartache of being dumped by Curtis.
