In the aftermath of the Battle of Winterfell, the remaining Game of Thrones good guys let their hair down in celebration of the victory.
While everyone was drunk and merry, Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) didn’t seem to be in full spirits.
But while her tense scenes aired, many fans believed they spotted a slight blunder in the scene in the form of a coffee cup.
The alleged item was sitting on the table front of Daenerys while she enviously stared down Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
As a result of the blunder, many flocked to Twitter to share their screen grabs of the moment and their witty comments.
One said: “Two years to put this together and they couldn’t reframe a shot to lose the Starbucks coffee cup for the biggest show in history? Wow.”
Another added: “HOLD UP, ISN’T ANYONE GONNA COMMENT HOW THE MOTHER OF DRAGONS LIKES HER WINE WITH A CUP OF @Starbucks COFFEE ON THE SIDE?”
A third shared: “And after the Great War, they celebrated the victory by drinking the best coffee in Westeros.”
A fourth commented: “I cannot get over how the makers of #GameOfThrones put fans on blast for not having expensive enough TVs to fully appreciate their visually perfect show then this week there’s actually enough light to see the screen and their sloppy asses fully left a 2019 coffee cup in the shot.”
Fans were nevertheless amused by the slip-up, but they still continued to enjoy the jam-packed episode.
While Daenerys was sitting by her coffee cup, she was rather dismayed to see how well Jon was getting on with Northerners, Wildlings and her own team alike.
His natural charisma seemed to worry her, as she knows he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, and honestly, more people would probably like to see him rule.
Later on, Daenerys had to confront Jon about her feelings and begged him to tell anyone about his Stark and Targaryen heritage.
He couldn’t promise that, though, and ended up telling his Stark family, who eventually told others, and with the news almost fully out, it seems Daenerys has a coup d’État on her hands.
Varys (Conleth Hill) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) had a frank and honest discussion about who they thought should be on the Iron Throne.
While Tyrion remained loyal to Daenerys, it seemed Varys had well and truly waived his allegiance.
Furthermore, with hints of her potentially bad decisions coming up as she seemed to not care about killing thousands of innocent followers of Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), it seems her time as potential Queen is coming to an end.
But who will be the one to overthrow Daenerys? Will it be Tyrion or Jon?
Game of Thrones continues Sunday on HBO in the USA and the following day on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.
