Lily Allen, 33, arrived at the Cheltenham Festival 2019 for the Gold Cup after taking to her Instagram account to share a clip as she travelled to the event. Sitting in a car, donning a red and brown Burberry scarf, the singer held up a beverage and captioned the post: “Off to the races.” In a second clip, she gave fans a glimpse of her outfit and said: “When the guts match your lewk #whippinexcursion.”(sic) The Smile singer turned heads as she sported a camel jumpsuit with a light coloured coat.
She accessorised her look with a Louis Vuitton red and white handbag with a pair of deep red pointed heeled shoes.
Keeping her make-up to a minimum, she pulled her platinum blonde tresses back into a bun and added a headband, keeping her hair away from her face.
She rocked a pair of sunglasses despite the grey clouds and rain.
The singer seemingly appeared to be in a jovial mood as she watched the races from a box, alongside actor Luke Evans and former Made In Chelsea TV star, Ollie Locke.
At one point, Lily could be seen cheering as she raised a glass into the air, hinting at a potential win.
In another snap the outspoken star stuck her tongue out as she looked like she was having a blast at the event.
The star-studded line-up who attended the Cheltenham Festival included presenter Carol Vorderman, 58, and Richard Hammond.
Everyone braved the windy weather, with the former arriving at the races rocking a figure-hugging ensemble but made certain to carry an umbrella.
The age-defying beauty looked stunning in white but teamed a high-waisted skirt with a fitted black top and a large belt.
She shared her love of the sport on the social media platform by tweeting: “I love @CheltenhamRaces…bit wet and windy to start but the sun put his hat on….hip hip hip hooray.
“Spent the day with my really good friend, legendary trainer Michael Dickinson….#MadGenius #AlwaysHilarious.. #SuchALuckyGirl.”
Meanwhile, Lily recently spoke out about her notorious exchange with Piers Morgan in a new interview.
The 53-year-old is known for being outspoken on all manner of issues via social media and fans may recall he and Lily’s Twitter spat over gun crime, which took place last year and saw her appearance on the ITV show Good Morning Britain reportedly cancelled.
The It’s Not Fair hitmaker has since admitted she would “never say never” to going on the show but claims he would try and “humiliate” her.
Speaking to the Metro, Lily said: “Never say never, but some people think it’s quite funny, the Piers Morgan attitude – he says it how it is. It’s not, it’s rubbish.
“I’m past the point of wanting to go on there and speak with him in a jokey way, on a massive platform and have him try to humiliate me.”
